Great day for cycling . Lots of sunshine, not much traffic and a light wind mostly at my back.
I was heading towards Toronto on Hwy 6 and thought that would take me too far to the west so
I let the GPS give me a new route to the Toronto Geocache, which I knew was right downtown.
I ended up arriving in Oakville so had a 20 km ride into Toronto.
The GPS kept wanting me to drive on the 400 series highway so I took a lot of sideroads but made it here in late afternoon.
Lots of farm country north of Toronto
This is one of the highways I was trying to avoid
There were some nice parks along the way
Strange to see trolly cars
Once in Toronto I found a bike path along the waterfront
Lots of things to do along the shoreline
The busy stores
Clue one for my Great White North Geotour
Clue two
Clue three
Once I had the three clues, I found a coffee shop and did my calculations and the checksum
The final was about 19km to the west but it was getting late.
I biked towards the final but it got dark and I had to stop for the night,
and like Barbara said, not many campgrounds in town so I got a motel.
